First time I saw Masha in my dressing room in Ostankino: frightened long-legged elf with mermaid hair. My stylist on “Fashion Verdict” Milena Ziyatdinova presented Maria as her new assistant. Later Milena got married and moved to Paris, changed her last name for Sclacmeuld and started new job in a friendly fashion house Jay Ahr, and Masha took her place in Moscow. A graduate of the British Higher School of Design Maria Golubeva was born in Moscow, from childhood she loved creating dresses with flying silhouettes. After winning the project “Fashion Academy” on TV channel “Muz-TV” and after her internship at Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, and then with my guidance, Masha made her debut show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia with her brand Maria Golubeva. I suggested Masha to hold a casting of her “clones” and so long-legged elves with mermaid hair walking on a dangerously high platforms appeared on the catwalk. This season they will walk for the third time.
For Bijoux Bazaar in Petrovsky Passage Maria Golubeva made one of the most unusual necklaces: “The antiques, vintage jewelry – all this brings feelings of mysteries and mysticism. Keys to the secret doors, treasure chests, keys to the heart for your love… Haven’t you ever dreamed about it? For my exclusive necklace I found eight vintage keys of the late XIX century. Eight – is a symbol of infinity and my favorite number.
I believe that each of these unique keys can open the door to happiness, love, prosperity, health, to everything that it’s owner wishes. And let them be infinity!”
