Alison Loehnis, President and Managing Director, NET-A-PORTER.COM said: “During NET-A-PORTER’S thirteen-year history, we have collaborated with the world’s leading fashion designers and selected visual artists to create exclusive capsule collections for our customers and we are delighted to continue to build momentum within the art world. Stacy has an extraordinary eye for fashion and art and ART CAPSUL seamlessly fuses the two. These unique, bespoke works are covetable, fashionable and highly collectible”
Stacy Engman, Curator, said: “ART CAPSUL celebrates originality, vision, and uniqueness inherent in the forms and traditions of haute couture and art. Artists give life to their artwork through their own distinct vision, and this special art project series celebrates this as an extension of their existing vision and practice.” ART CAPSUL by Stacy Engman will be available from September on a made-to- order basis exclusively via NET-A-PORTER.COM’s Personal Shopping team.
NET-A-PORTER.COM announced the launch of ART CAPSUL at a private reception at The Upper House during Art Basel Hong Kong in May 2013. The luxury online retailer unveiled the garments at an exclusive preview on the 3rd July, 2013 at the Palais de Tokyo during Paris Haute Couture Week.

Stacy Engman is a fine-art curator based in New York, working mostly with art museums, with past exhibitions and projects at esteemed institutions, including the Andy Warhol Museum, the Salvador Dali Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art/PS1, amongst others. She is known for bridging fine art and other art forms, including music and film, and for championing fashion as a part of her practice – where she has seamlessly presented fashion designers, such as Karl Lagerfeld and Marc Jacobs, in her exhibitions alongside visual artists, such as Terence Koh. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London, and is known as a New York City style icon and taste maker.
