The new book of artist Gladys Perint Palmer contains a fair amount of funny moments of the life of the inhabitants of the planet’s Fashion.
Attending the shows, Gladys always takes along her camera, she captures the most interesting moments and then uses these photos to revive the images in her memory.
I really like her ironic view of things and her work with young fashion designers in San Francisco, where she lives.
Once Gladys invited me to the prom fashion show of the Fashion Academy students.
Suzy Menkes was also invited to the jury. We had a great time with the students of the Academy, who came from all over the world to study here.
Each season Gladys sends me an invitation to the Academy report show at New York Fashion Week. On the cover of the invitation – new illustration by Gladys.
Some time ago Gladys draw a portrait of me. I was very flattered, because Gladys Perint Palmer draws only those who truly deserve attention.
