Prada, Céline, Maison Martin Margiela, Jil Sander, Miu Miu – the list of brands Ivana Omazić, famous stylist and designer of Croatian descent, collaborated with does not end here. Having lived for a long time between Milan and Paris, Ivana has justly acquired a status of one of the most famous creators in the modern fashion world by the age of forty.

2015 has become a milestone in her previously consistent career – Ivana decided to return to Croatia and open her own atelier right on the fringe of the forest close to Zagreb. Nowadays Ivana creates women demi-couture collections under the brand IO Ivana Omazić. The season spring-summer 2017 has become the third one for the newly created brand. Clothes in the collection are rather moderate, but even if she uses rather classic lines and materials, Ivana nods towards fashion trends through the form (oversize, culottes, and pleated skirts) and unusual prints and colors.

Ivana Omazić is a dedicated follower of the “slow fashion” concept, which she strives to translate into clothes made by her brand. She believes that modern world realities push us towards constant change, shift permanence on the back burner, substitute individuality for constant multiplication and mass production. The designer proclaimed creation of fashion ethic and aesthetic of the future the goal of IO Ivana Omazić brand, it is destined to save and adapt in accordance to modern realities ancient art crafts and techniques avoiding any homologation at the same time.

Clothes’ quality – is among top priorities of the designer. The whole process of creation from the birth of the prototype to the choice of material is held entirely in the atelier by a team of artists and highly experienced craftsmen. Each piece of clothing goes through an unprecedented number of fittings, because uniqueness of the model and personal approach in its creation are very important for Ivana.
