Marc Jacobs is famous for free views and commitment to granzhevy esthetics of internal revolt. It would be possible to expect that his mansion in the lower Manhattan will meet our expectations of the designer’s figure. Photos which Mark has placed in the personal account in the Instagram disclose character of his owner from a new and unexpected side.

There are a lot of pictures and objects of the modern art of the American artists: John Currin’s pictures in a bedroom, Ellie Elsuort in one of visting-rooms and Richard Prince in another. One portrait among numerous pictures of Elisabeth Peyton — Sofia Coppola, a favourite muse of Marc Jacobs is especially remarkable. Figurines of authorship of Lalanne and Dopey meet on the house. The main decoration of the house is the favourite bull terrier Nevil who has own account in the Instagram with 200 thousand of followers.

“I’m not big on having a particular concept or look,” Jacobs says in response to a query about the aesthetic sensibility of his home. “I just want to live with things I genuinely love—great Art Deco furniture, pieces from the ’70s, and contemporary art. But I didn’t want the house to feel like a pristine gallery or a Deco stage set—just something smart, sharp, and comfortable”.
