The red carpet has one mysterious peculiarity: only classic outfits, that accent women’s beauty look good on it.
And ever since in 2002 Elie Saab dressed Halle Berry for the Oscar ceremony, when she received her prize for the role in Marc Forster’s “Monster’s Ball» and looked absolutely stunning during her 331 seconds speech, that allowed the TV viewers of the ceremony to study her dress made by the Parisian newcomer of Lebanese origin in the most accurate way.
So now, when a whole decade passed since that day, it is hard to imagine Oscar ceremony without actresses, dressed in a simple and at the same time perfectly fitted dresses from Elie, or an important wedding without magnificent bride’s dress, which generous Saab embroidered with thirty kilograms of beads and rhinestones. And many young designers inspired by the couturier’s success create dresses a la Saab… Have a look at the red carpet photos of Moscow International Film Festival and you’ll see, what I mean!
