Scene costume designer Armine Gevorgyan created her own brand ALEXIS ACCESSORIES three years ago. No wonder that the bijoux pieces created by Armine appear to be big, rich with juicy national color. In the beginning of the carrier the source of the inspiration for Armine were Armenian carpets ornaments. Beaded necklaces with pendants, bracelets in the form of Armenian carpets designs presented traditional national color and geometric patterns. Recently, Armine sent me her lookbook on Facebook and I noticed that she works with rich, juicy and sunny strokes of paint-brush. I wasn’t surprised at all when a week after the necklace “Vintage Sun” was delivered from Erevan to Moscow. It is made out of stained glass, color of amber, hand thrown, framed with string of pure gold color and decorated with vintage element to which a tassel of copper and gold chains are fixed. Polyhedron with filigree pattern is a brooch of a postwar period. Pendant holds on thick ocher string which is fixed with the help of red crystals.
