Alexandra Feodosieva is a girl with a proactive position. She studied costume design at Moscow State University of Design and Technology. After graduation she immediately created her own brand Sasha Soshalskaya and arranged fashion show of her collection of designers-dresses. In addition, she has already worked as costume designer on stage and screen for films “Slujebniy roman (Office affair)”, “Beremenniy (Pregnant)”, “Ya budu ryadom (I will stay close to you)” (this film won a Grand-Prix on “Kinotavr” festival). Last year Sasha took a great interest in creating diadems made out of silicone, created her own plastic forms, and decided to use them in her bijoux collection.
“For the vintage necklace that was presented for the Bijoux Bazaar in Petrovsky Passage, I used yellow-neon colored plastic vignette with blue drops. This is exactly the form that makes references for vintage. Pearls I bought at the flea market in Izmailovo, from different people. I went there in order to buy the exact same pearls as my grandmother gave me and to my surprise, I found it and, by the way, from different salespeople. These are antique threads of riverine irregular shape pearls! The lock I took from another necklace. Vintage and beautiful, I just couldn’t resist”.
