Evgenia Linovich for MASTERPEACE

MASTERPEACE necklace specially for Bijoux Bazaar © Egor Berladin, Bosco di Ciliegi press department

Evgenia Linovich – the founder of spa “Palestra”, was always travelling all around the world and collecting new beauty treatments. She became a regular visitor at Bali. And when travelling around Bali it’s almost impossible to resist and not start creating bijoux – the materials and work are so good and so cheap. At the same time in Moscow Jenia started a souvenir business, and her creations were interlaced with elements of Russian folk art. One more inspiring factor were her children- when your home is full of mountains of toy scraps, you can’t help to use these bright elements. Now thanks to Jenia’s entrepreneurial spirit, you can buy a Masterpeace bijoux by Linovich in every beauty salon and big department store in Moscow. Jenia braids in her necklaces and headbands trophies from flea markets, antique shops and semi-precious stone fairs. Grandma’s old garments, Christmas decorations, children’s toys , charms, semi-precious stones and Swarovski crystals transform into beads, bracelets, necklaces, hair clips and fillets for hair. For the Bijoux Bazaar in Petrovsky Passage Evgenia created a very unusual handmade necklace in the form of the collar, decorated with vintage beads. Beads were bought in Copenhagen in 1970-s. Vintage nacreous pearl button “Bullfinch” was found there at the same time – at the flea market. How did Jenia found it out, no one knows, because in those 1970-s she wasn’t even in the project.
