Irina and Marina Kiryanovy for RAINBOW SEEKERS
I came across the intriguing title Rainbow Seekers on Facebook – on the page of one of my friends. On the next day amazed Irina and Marina came to Ostankino with their stunning necklace – Pegasus. While Irina works on the collections, Marina has to combine the position of the CEO of their company with the position at big retail company, as the sisters still have to earn the right to create what they like. “We use only natural material to create our necklaces. No plastic, no synthetic! Semi-precious stones, coral, nacre, shells, pearls, glass, ceramics, wood, leather, horn, suede – this is what our Rainbow Seekers are born out of »,- the sisters write in the press release. At the same time Irina is a professional costume designer and creates capsule collection of clothes from time to time – then sisters have their pictures taken in Irina’s creations and Rainbow Seekers necklaces and publish these shots on Instagram that expanded the circle of their clients greatly. The necklace Pegasus that became mine attracted attention of street style bloggers during fashion weeks in Paris and Milan. The necklace for the project in Petrovsky Passage was made out of several necklaces that Marina brought for Irina from her voyages. For example, the central element of the necklace – variscite stone – was a part of another necklace that was presented to Marina by a friend from Australian city of Perth. He told that this stone is about 50 years old. Now girls polished the stone, so it looks like new again. Golden arcs were a part of another necklace that Marina bought at the flea market in Paris.
