Russian designer Olya Shikhova moved from Ekaterinburg to Moscow and launched her brand in 2011. For that moment she has already showed herself as a second stylist in my team on “Fashion Verdict”. Everything started from the dresses which Olya gave me to wear for the program one summer. The dresses were simple and soft – white and white-pink. Later I found out that Olya created these dresses herself. As a result the pink dress was bought by beautiful Larisa Verbitskaya. Next season Olya presented a capsule collection of decorative collars. Slim, pretty, with beautiful boyfriend-artist, Olya nevertheless has determination in doing business – very soon many of the members of “Fashion Verdict” team were wearing her beautiful collars and magnificent Nadejda Babkina was among them. And then with my guidance, the brand Olya Shikhova made a showroom during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. After presenting two collections of collars that were sold out in no time, Olya Shikhova brought to market crazy lace necklaces, dyed with aniline colors and strewn with thorns. At the heart of necklace, which is presented at Bijoux Bazaar in Petrovsky Passage, is a vintage brooch of 1960-s that was bought at an antique shop. Olya attached the brooch to lace that was covered with acryl, and embroidered the lace with Swarovski crystals and crystal beads.
