Pret-a-porter spring-summer 2014: Paris

Absolute leaders of the Paris fashion week are Jean-Paul Gaultier and Karl Lagerfeld. Fashion show Jean Paul Gaultier took place in cabaret in the form of selection of dancers where Almodovar’s favourite Rosy di Palma were predominated in jury, and model Coco Rocha so fierily performed John Travolta’s part in “Brilliantine” that all first row, including Catherine Deneuve, Frida Helf, Katerina Moiseeva almost broke into a dance.
The fashion show of Chanel took place as usual in Grand Palais, but this time Kaiser surpassed himself in the set decor: he created a number of art objects from Chanel, including robots in the form of a bottle of Chanel N 5, the huge crossed letters C, pierced by a red stick, huge bags 2.55 and other.
Squall of publications in Facebook and Instagram, I think, blocked number of official publications about these two collections. Images of the good artist girl from Chanel (the collection is sustained in cheerful pastel scale) and the bad girl dancer of cabaret from Jean Paul Gaultier (the collection mainly black) became two main accents of the Paris week which has finished the fashionable marathon spring-summer 2014.
