Evelina Khromtchenko – member of CFDA Fashion Awards Guild 2013
The Council of Fashion Designers of America CFDA Fashion Awards Ceremony 2013 took place yesterday in New York's Lincoln Center. This year the fashion expert Evelina Khromtchenko voted for the nominees of CFDA Fashion Awards 2013, having received an invitation from the leaders of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Diane von Furstenberg and Steven Kolb to become a member of the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards Guild. Becoming a member of the Guild is by invitation only.
The CFDA Fashion Awards Guild is formed of top names of the fashion industry: retailers, journalists, stylists and more than 400 designers who are members of the CFDA.

Design duo Proenza Schouler (Jack McCoullough and Lazaro Hernandez) won the main award of the Council of Fashion Designers of America CFDA Fashion Awards 2013 in the category “Womenswear designer of the year”.
Thom Browne was named “Menswear designer of the year”.
Phillip Lim received the award as “Accessories designer of the year”.
Swarovski Award winners:
Erin Beatty & Max Osterweis (Suno) – “Swarovski award for womenswear”.
Dao-Yi Chow & Maxwell Osborne (Public school) – “Swarovski award for menswear”.
Pamela Love – “Swarovski award for accessories”.
Journalist Tim Blanks received “Media Award in honor of Eugenia Sheppard”, designer Vera Wang, known for her beautiful wedding gowns, received “Geoffrey Beene lifetime award” from the hands of her colleague Ralph Lauren.
Actor Ethan Hawke presented the “Board of directors’ tribute” award to the costume designer Colleen Atwood , for her work in the thriller “Gattaca”. Actress Jessica Chastain presented the award in the category “International award” to the creative director of Givenchy – Riccardo Tisci.
The former first lady and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton presented “The founder’s award in honor of Eleanor Lambert” to the designer Oscar de la Renta.
