Evelina Khromtchenko’s studio at the MSU Faculty of Journalism will be opened on February 7th, 2013.
In the course of her studio the fashion expert Evelina Khromchenko will give an original course of lectures on “Fashion magazine: creation and management.” The first lecture of the course will be held on February 7 in the legendary lecture hall # 232 at the Faculty of Journalism of the Moscow State University on Mokhovaya Street.
According to the Dean of Faculty ,Professor Elena Vartanova, the Faculty of Journalism often invites renowned lecturers, but in this case the degree of students' interest was record high: more than 700 applications on the website of the faculty for only 270 seats in the lecture hall. In order to cover all comers, the administration of the faculty is planning to live stream lectures on the screen in another lecture hall.
Starting from September, 2013 Evelina Khromtchenko will hold the Chair of “Journalism: fashion and lifestyle” module at the Faculty of Journalism. At the moment Elena Vartanova and Evelina Khromtchenko with the participation of lecturers of Department of Theory and Economics of mass-media are developing the program of the module with a list of subjects and eventual professors.
“I gladly accepted the offer of Faculty of Journalism – being a professor at the Moscow State University is a great honor, besides now I have a great opportunity to pay tribute to my Alma Mater, – says Evelina Khromchenko, the owner of honours degree in journalism. – I really hope that very soon this work will lead to the creation of Department of Journalism of fashion and lifestyle at MSU Faculty of Journalism: specialists in this area are in deficit in the media world “.
