New York-based brand. Khirma, founder and designer of Khirma Eliazov brand, was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, and emigrated to the United States with her family when she was a small child. Her parents are successful business owners who have always encouraged her to pursue her creative dreams and nurtured her entrepreneurial spirit.
After pursuing a law degree Khirma moved to Florence to embark on a career in the fashion industry. After having worked as stylist and accessories editor in many famous magazines such as Mademoiselle, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Teen Vogue, Town & Country and Glamour,Khirma decided to launch her own brand in 2009. Now the recognizable signature of the handbag designer Khirma Eliazov is the unique combination of different types of skin textures – python, crocodile and stingray.
