Color of life

I’m becoming more convinced that orange is not an extravagant color, but an outright classic one. Even more, this spectrum neighbor of red and yellow is more applicable in the mix than red color. In relation to red orange is the same as navy in regard to black. Red, like black, is an uncompromising color, orange and Navy are much more friendly to the combinations. Orange is able to reconcile even red and fuchsia – that was clearly proved by Yves Saint Laurent, it also harmonizes well with white, green, blue, yellow, purple, black, brown.

Reflecting on such a loyal nature of orange, I came to the conclusion that its direct descent from red and yellow by way of mixing isn’t the point; the point is its philosophy. If red color has both positive and negative sides, orange at first sight has no negative connotation at all. For all its energy and vitality, qualities that unites orange with red, it does not possess the diabolism of red, its appeal to blood, sex, runaway passion, anger. That is orange is an energetic, but extremely positive color from all points of view, including ethics and morality. Even if orange dress or pants fit you tightly, they do not evoke in presents the same feelings which would have evoked a tight red dress. Probably for this reason ,having hit the catwalk a couple of seasons ago, orange does not want to jump out.

Totally orange clothes of summer and fall in winter pass to elements and decor. Orange turns into curry of different densities at Haider Ackermann, it is smashed by white at Altuzarry, is used in paisley pattern at Carven and Etro, in a geometric print at Prada, in floral designs in the spirit of liberty at Miu Miu, is smashed by a supermatic white, blue and brown stripes at Celine. However, I noticed that if orange plays solo, it needs the support of accessories to a greater degree than red or black.
