Last week Alber Elbaz was awarded the title of Officer of the Legion of Honor of France. Of course all those present at the ceremony was eager to learn about his new projects – the designer of Lanvin went a year ago and since then there just rumors around his name — from the contract in Uniqlo up to the appointment of the Oscar de La Renta. Quite often, Alber Elbaz mentioned that he believes fashion is their main mistake, and had to learn to be a doctor: “I would be now wearing wonderful green uniform of surgeon”. In the era of “fast fashion” and “nofashion” dresses by most humane of the designer would be a light in the window to the girls’ souls.
Still a slight surprise for the audience Alber Elbaz prepared: during the acceptance he spoke about his new work for the fragrance Frederic Malle, who will present in March 2017. The perfume is called superstitious, which on Russian is translated as “superstitious”.
