Antonio Banderas will play the role of Gianni Versace in the new film by Danish Director Bille August. Shooting will begin in December in Milan, will also be held in Reggio di Calabria, where the designer was born and will end in Miami, the city where Gianni was shot dead in 1997. Interestingly, Banderas studied at Saint Martins and in May 2016 presented a collection in collaboration with Selected, Scandinavian clothing brand. Among others as inspiration Banderas calls the work of Gianni Versace.
The collection will go on sale in August this year.
