Louis Vuitton launches new range of innovative 4 wheel suitcases for the twenty-first century traveller, designed by Marc Newson, one of the most influential designers in the world.
In the Luggage of a follower of biomorphism Mike Newson present smooth lines, no sharp angles and the use of advanced materials. The design of the suitcase has got a new type snowpocalypse polypropylene composite that makes up the frame of the suitcase, made in the form of a layered mesh panels. The panel is very thin, lightweight and elastic, which gives it the ability to absorb impact.
Retractable handle of anodized aluminum is moved on the outer side of the suitcase so that its design has acquired an additional structure and strength, and such an important space for packing things inside the suitcase was increased. Another innovation was the use of transverse lateral loops built into the design of the suitcase. This design is typical of traditional hard suitcases Louis Vuitton and provides an opening of cover to 180 degrees. Zipper closes with ultra-thin lock with a digital code of three digits, as approved by the TSA. Four miniature wheels, designed and built to provide extremely quiet rotation, ensure the rotation of the suitcase 360 degree smooth and stable maneuvering.
Suitcase models are available in Monogram, Monogram Eclipse Damier Graphite, Leather Taïga, Vivienne and Epi leather in a rainbow palette of 7 colors. In 2017 the collection will join the world’s only suitcase on wheels in titanium with a pattern of Monogram in the technique of laser engraving. The suitcase is available in two measurements: 50 (50 x 35 x 20 cm) and 55 (55 x 39 x 21 cm). Model size 70 for delivery to the baggage will be issued later.
