Jewellery Collection Les Blés de Chanel
The ear of wheat, symbol of fertility and abundance became the inspiration of the new collection of jewelry and watches Les Blés de Chanel. All 62 objects of fine jewelry reflect the natural life cycle of wheat. According to these cycles, the collection is divided into four parts. Brins de Printemps composed of objects symbolizing the newborn sprouts by green hues of peridots, tourmalines and aquamarines, and immature ears are symbilised by cold shades of white gold and diamonds. Solaire Epi — wheat is gaining strength — sparkles yellow gold and yellow diamonds. Moisson d’Or — the time of harvest is reflected in the white gold combined with yellow sapphires and round beads of yellow sapphires. The main subject of the collection — necklace Fête des Moissons in white and yellow gold yellow diamond octagon weighing 25 carats.
As the main visual of the announcement of a new line of jewelry on the place Vendôme in Paris presented the installation artist Gad Weil: a wheat field was spread in a golden halo around 44-meter Vendome column. The author of the art installation reminiscents: “Les Blés de Chanel is a metaphor for eternal life. Every year, spike dies to be reborn and give birth to a new wheat field”.
