“Russian Cosmos” at MAMM in Moscow
Exhibition “Russian Cosmos” is on screen at the Multimedia Art Museum. It is dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the first flight into space of Yuri Gagarin.
“Russian Cosmos” is an attempt to trace the influence of the topic of space research on Russian philosophy, Russian art from avant-garde to contemporary. In the exhibition halls of the works of art coexist side by side with scientific artifacts from the spacecraft “Vostok” Yuri Gagarin, the first publicly demonstrated before the video and audio associated with the Russian space.
The project was created in collaboration with Rocket and Space Corporation “Energia”, archive of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the State Museum of history of cosmonautics named after K. E. Tsiolkovsky, Russian state library and other museums, galleries, private collections.
The exhibition “Russian space” takes place in MAMM until 11 September 2016 at St. Ostozhenka, 16 in Moscow. Additional information: mamm-mdf.ru
