You know Inga Savits as the top model, which for 15 years has been working with the most famous fashion houses, including Versace, Dior and Valentino. Today Inga is the designer of own line of shoes “Inga”, which is represented on several continents: in stores in Paris, Belgium, Dubai, Italy, US/Texas, Japan and with new collection in China. Among her clients Inga Savits consider all contemporary women – feminine, confident, stylish, self assured, strong and fragile at the same time, who is open-minded and possesses a young and curious spirit, with a great sense of humor, no age limits. Some one who likes to feel good in her shoes and have allure and attitude.
How you happen to become the accessory designer?
I wanted to be fashion designer but after all the years in modeling business I fell in love with accessories. Also that story with my grandmother giving me 2 pairs of shoes from the 50’s, when I was about 12 years old…. A pump with thick heel and round toe in pattern leather and a ballerina in black velvet pointy toe and those became my obsession.
I think it stays in my head from that time.
What should everyone care about when choosing shoes?
I think one of the most importan rule is to buy what fits you better, not because someone else has it …and important to feel good and comfortable, only then you can get that sensual, feminine, self confident ,smart and sexy walk…. That feeling of being born with heels.
Please, give us some advice to make a perfect look to be matched by “Inga” shoes.
My style is glam rock,feminine with edge. All my shoes work for different lenth of pants and skirts/dresses. I love shorter version of pants /skinny jeans which leave open ankle with shirt or jumper and military or leather jacket. And my best seller LARA or any other boots will fit with that look. Or a little black dress with long sleeves and open back will work as for LARA -more rock style , as for AMY -sexier look. Have to say that KIKI sandal and IZZY mules are also loved by lots of my clients and they as well fit with anything –shorts,skirts,dresses… when i design my shoes, maybe because i studied womens garments, i immagine every style with differen looks and for me they all have to work. I love knee lenth skirts and dresses of different style, i think this lenth is very feminine and i would wear it with nice jacket or a big cardigan and this summer KARA is perfect with that look.
