Mario Testino’s exhibition “HEAT” is open in the Dubai Design District gallery. The first time works of the world’s most influential fashion and portrait photographer have been exhibited in the Middle East.The exhibition represents a mini-retrospective of the best works from the past 35 years: 33 celebrity portraits and seven of it have never been shown before and remarkable shots from his Alta Moda series taken in Peru, as a tribute to his native country. Watching the portraits of Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Gisele Bündchen and Natalia Vodianova,one can say for sure that thanks to Mario Testino’s talent and unique style they have become modern fashion and style icons like Marilyn Monroe and Brigitte Bardot were in their times. The exhibition “HEAT” curated by Simon de Pury, a renowned Swiss art auctioneer, adviser and collector is held untill April 15.
