The book by Lisa Eldridge, global creative director of Lancôme, “Paints. The history of makeup” will be on sale in Russian shops within the next two weeks. The book was published in the United States last year and immediately entered the top-lists of the most influential media, upon the results of sales the book was at the third place ranking New York Times.

The book can be read from any page – it is non-linear text. Lisa Eldridge described phenomena and events that have affected the beauty industry. Stories about objects of beauty-industry, life jokes about cosmetics, researches and analysis of personal muses of the author, which greatly affected the performance of the public about what should be a woman and how it might look.
