London Victoria&Albert Museum hosts great retrospective exhibition Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty dedicated to the career and creative work of Alexander McQueen, an English fashion’s enfant terrible. More that 100 remarkable designs and 70 original accessories are included into the exhibition, starting with the debut collection in 1992 and up to the latest fall-winter 2010 collection which was finished after the couturier’s suiсide by Alexander McQueen’s team headed by Sarah Burton. All pieces of design are provided by decorations and video-installations of designer’s catwalk shows. More than 600 thousands of people managed to visit it during its display in the Metropolitan Museum of New York in 2010. Due to the record-breaking figures of this exhibition Victoria&Albert Museum will open the doors throughout the night for the last weekends till August 2.
