Spring-girl

The main trends of the coming season give us free hand. You can look whatever you like – from a fair-skinned nymph with the wind blowing in her hair to a lucious Barbie with fuchsia lips. Nymphs were all there in the fashion fantasies by Versace, Matthew Williamson and Isabel Marant. The brand ambassadors were either totally free of makeup or wore tender semitransparent shades – aristocratic pink, сold lilac and silver grey. Fragile, innocent and a bit alien-looking girls. This kind of makeup is perfect for a first spring walk in the city streets when you can smell in the air young leaves just going to blossom. It will also suit a date if your friend will treat you with a strawberry milk shake, not champagne.
Don’t want to look like a nymph? Get inspired by Moschino show. Blonde wigs and waves of flashy pink – models resembled live Barbies or Paris Hilton in her violent youth. Pink is by the way the key color of the season. Matte neon lips of the models on Aquilano Rimoldi catwalk were not less effective than bright red. Good choice for those who have already turned from chrysalis into butterfly but lack experience to wear Hollywood Red. The main thing is not to combine such lips with bright makeup for eyes, otherwise you might be taken for a barmaid or a singer never going beyond hits of the 1980-s. Just touch your lashes with mascara. If you have scruples about naked eyes, accentuate them with stick-on eyeliners – another smash hit of the season. Peter Philips, the make up artist at Fendi show conjured false strips for cat’s eye makeup of fine blue leather. Stick-on eyeliners of neon colors were also seen on the catwalk during Dior show.
The bold-minded should follow the shows by Rodarte and Tommy Hilfiger. Pat McGrath drew star-shape tattoos all over the models’ bodies for the first one, while James Caliardos went yet further and imitated piercing effect with the help of small silver clamps. As a matter of fact to show you fashion protest in real life the only thing you need is a black kajal. Pencil your upper and lower eyelids heavily, soft the lines in an offhand manner and go for it – dancing in leather pants to Mick Jagger hits. It was his daughter Georgia May Jagger who opened the Tommy Hilfiger performance.
Those who love simple and natural hairdos “made” by sea breeze somewhere in a seaside open air cafe will appreciate a trend called “back view” – all kinds of pony tails, plaits and fancy buns. One could see them at the shows by Michael Kors, Bottega Veneta, Valentino. A hairdo like that should be decorated with a prominent hair accessory. For example the buns at Dolce & Gabbana show were hidden under big red roses. Which rhymed well with black lace dresses and large-size accessories. And a ticket to Palermo in a small purse. Hair accessories are also advisable for short haircuts. Designer hair bands and arty pins are all at your disposal. A bright hairband and a bright lipstick make a fancy tandem capable of turning an office bee into a party butterfly in five minutes. Or at least cheer you up. Which is the main goal of all the beauty trends, isn’t it?
