LVMH is looking for talents

Now the young designers have got another chance to become famous: after successful first edition of LVMH Prize last year, the company announces the launch of the 2015 edition of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers. Delphine Arnault, Karl Lagerfeld, Nicolas Ghesquière, Marc Jacobs, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, Phoebe Philo, Raf Simons, Riccardo Tisci and the other fashion proffessionals will compose the jury.

Delphine Arnault, Director and executive Vice President of LVMH, notes, that the second edition of the LVMH Prize for Young Designers, confirms the growing interes in young talents. As a leader of the industry LVMH’ responsibility is to identify tomorrow’s talent and help them grow.

This year the winner receives a grant of 300,000 euros, as well as a personalized mentorship from a dedicated LVMH team to help in developing their company for a year. The LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers is open to designers under the age of 40 who have presented and sold at least two women’s or men’s ready-to-wear collections. Ten finalists will be known in march. The winner’s clothes will be worn right in june 2015. We should remind, that the winner of the last competition is Thomas Tait, who had successfully challenged with more than 1000 designers all over the world.
