I don’t know the best way to become more beautiful, wise and self confident than motherhood. Don’t you jump at darting poisonеd arrows (What about the need to be wakeful and vigilant round the clock? Putting on weight? Stretch marks and swelling?) Every other mother has to experience all that. And ther is more to it – babies’ bellyache, allergy, lactase deficiency plus many other reasons for anxiety and disquiet. Pulsing beastly fear for your cub becomes ever present. On the list of things to be done in your iPрone there are now points that cannot be postponed for tomorrow or delegated to your driver. The receipt in Mothercare reads more than that for new shoes from Gucci. And instead of a bottle of Rose now you put in your Azbuka Vkusa shopping cart the drinks stimulating milk production. Your friends who are not yet familiar with the motherhood-related problems embarrassedly wince at your stories about breast pumps and nappy disposal systems. Yes, that’s how it works.
But it all gets more an more insignificant with each passing day of motherhood. The older the child the more he enriches the life of his parents, helping them to know themselves better. His first steps awaken tenderness and touching affection, first words and faces he poses сause laughter, first questions and answers arouse curiosity, first mistakes develop parental wisdom, first love – the ability to let go. All those emotions, sparkling minutes of revelation and hours of meditation give to womеn timeless beauty, and the secret of this beauty lies in inner peace and self confidence. You feel pride in your body that gave birth to a new life, pure joy of the awareness that you are important and needed, tenderness – all that gives women inner light that never fades. And there is no better way to see the real beauty of a woman – her radiant smile and happy look, – than to ask her about her child. Because it is love that makes people most beautiful.
