Evelina Khromtchenko’s private bijoux collection at Petrovsky Passage

On the 22nd of October the exhibition of vintage jewelry collection of fashion expert Evelina Khromtchenko was opened at Petrovky Passage. Each piece of the collection has it’s own history: some of them Evelina inherited, other pieces were found at flea markets, antique shops and auctions in Europe and America. Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Brooch refers to year 1985 and cross Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture necklaces refers to year 1980 were bought at auction in Paris, clips that refer to 1940s were purchased on the antiques market in Venice, necklaces which refer to the beginning of the XX century, is so small, that it will fit only slender girl, was received from the U.S. auction.

Opening the exhibition Evelina Khromtchenko named Petrovsky Passage the precious casket for her jewelry collection. The vice-president of Bosco di Ciliegi Ekaterina Moiseeva emphasized that the historic interiors, plenty of light and air under the glass ceilings engineered by Shukhov, created not only a luxurious setting, but also the mood of the showcase.

At the exhibition at Petrovky passage were presented the Hollywood-style necklaces which path to Russia became a real adventure. The jewelry purchased by fashion historian Alexader Vasiliev were detained at the border – customs officials were sure that it was an attempt to carry out in the form of bijoux real diamonds! The bow tie Lanvin was given as a present by its creator Alber Elbaz. Antonio Marras, being designer of Kenzo, personally enriched Evelina Khromtchenko collection by presenting a brooch -black chrysanthemum’.

Exclusive for the exhibition at Passage young bijoux designers created 22 unique necklaces. Each one is a unique copy and was necessarily made using vintage materials. Necklace with multi-colored “peppers” by Inga Kazumyan fully completed luxurious red dress by Jean Paul Gaultier, necklace with chains, beads, yellow and turquoise leaves by Anastasia Tsvetaeva, who created the brand Nastia Olgan – short-spoken dress by Jil Sander and unusual necklace by Maria Golubeva, which is entirely decorated by antique keys – chiffon dress by Alberta Ferretti.
Also in the project participated Elinor Avni (Noritamy) Gali Schwartz, Anna Altabaeva (Tint), Irina and Marina Kiryanovy (Rainbow Seekers), Rena Leinov and Julia Belkina (RJ Bijoux), Evgeniya Linovich (Masterpeace), Ivlyana Makienko (Flower me), Svetlana Nesterushkina (Roushk), Olga Prokopova (Volha) Georgy Rushev, Ludmila Tregub (Lovelies by LT), Julia Kharitonova and Natalia Mersh (Queensbee), Olga Shikhova (Olya Shikhova), Karina Bagdasar (K’Jewellery), Maria Tychina, Sasha Soshalskaya, Vova Fruck, Marina Khramova (2LittleGirls), Armine Gevorgyan (Alexis Accessories).

During the exhibition visitors of Petrovky Passage will be able to purchase 22 designers necklaces, as well as an exclusive collection of vintage bijoux pieces, which was specially formed by Evelina Kromthchenko as a favor for Bosco di Ciliegi clients.
