THE WATCH: It’s been exactly 40 years since the cult model Royal Oak was launched by Audemars Piguet – the legend has it that the design of this luxury sports watch has been created overnight. The ladies’ version is 33 mm in diameter, 40 carat of diamonds, steel case and bracelet and the signature Grande Tapisserie pattern on the dial.
NB: This quartz watch also comes in versions of steel with a black o white leather strap, as well as pink gold with bracelets of white or brown rubber. A golden bracelet is also available.
THE IMAGE: The sportive chic one can afford for both work and leisure is good for a fitness club director, a forward-minded TV channel producer, an up-and-coming architect. When spring shopping, keep an eye out for an Alexander Wang jumper, a Kenzo parka or a Stella McCartney overall.
