THE WATCH: The ones who have the best chance to get a grip of men’s graceful novelties in the new horological year are the ladies wearing the formal suit on a daily basis. The new Saxonia Thin by A. Lange & Söhne comes this time in white gold, the case is 5,9 mm thin, and the works only 2,9 mm, however they make for a winding reserve of 72 hours. Piaget Altiplano Automatic Skeleton is the world’s thinnest skeleton watch (2,40 mm the works and 5,34 mm the case). The automatic winding is good for 44 hours.
NB: Both specialties – by A. Lange & Söhne and by Piaget – are set on black straps of crocodile. No fancy embellishments, just the substance of the issue, but what an elegant one!
