THE WATCH: This is a cult watch based on the prototype created in 1917 and given to general John J. Pershing. Ever since, Tank от Cartier has repeatedly conquered the world. The ones most popular in the fashion world were Tank Americaine (1989) and Tank Francaise (1996). 2012 novelties are on the verge of challenging those tried and true must haves: meticulous inhabitants of Planet Fashion shall be torn between the small and the medium version of Tank Anglaise. Perhaps, they might settle on Tank Folle, if quick enough to purchase one of the 200 crazy models of white gold with might 1,6 carat of diamonds.
NB: The small Tank Anglaise is pink gold, a quartz timekeeper and 0,8 carat of cut brilliants. Plus they are water-proof up to 30 m deep! The medium version is not good for swimming, which is more than made up white gold, self-winding mechanism and 13,3 carat of bead set diamonds.
