Lesage in Venice exhibition at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice

The House of Lesage is an important name in the world of fashion. Founded in 1858, its archives, with more than 75,000 samples, represent the biggest collection of couture embroidery in the world. The artisans of the Lesage atelier collaborated with the biggest designers like Elsa Schiaparelli, Christian Dior, Pierre Balmain, Madame Grès not to mention Cristóbal Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent.
Being a part of the exhibition Homo Faber, the embroidery house will be displaying the broad scope of its savoir-faire, capacity for innovation, rare examples of embroidery, photographs from behind the scenes at the ateliers. As well as silhouettes from the Haute Couture collections by Karl Lagerfeld and from the House of CHANEL Patrimony Collection which the embroidery atelier has been working with since 2002.
