The Japanese artist Takashi Murakami and the creative designer of Off-White and artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s men’s wear Virgil Abloh are back with another collaborative showcase “Technicolor 2” at the Gagosian Gallery in Paris. The new exhibition will present a new series of artworks depicting their signature styles and trademarks. With the art piece called “Times Nature” which is presented in three different variations of color, Murakami’s playful and colorful flower sculpture is essentially juxtaposed against Virgil Abloh‘s Off-White intersecting arrows logo. Takashi Murakami draws inspiration from both traditional Japanese art and Western culture, while Abloh is linked towards contemporary fashion and architecture.
Exhibition will open on June 23d and run until July 28th at Gagosian Gallery.
