“Mikhail Baryshnikov. Metaphysics of the body” in Moscow
Center of photography behalf of the Lumiere brothers held the exhibition of the American photographer Robert Whitman “Mikhail Baryshnikov. Metaphysics of the body”. Robert Whitman is a famous American photographer, shoots for major magazines, love to take pictures of dancers and in friendly terms with Mikhail Baryshnikov. More than sixty works can be seen at the exhibition: advertising campaign for the perfume Baryshnikov “Flavor” (1995), survey of the 10th anniversary of the Center artist in new York (Baryshnikov Art Center), photos from rehearsals and daily workouts.
20 years of life of the greatest ballet dancer on a glossy surface can be examined from October 12, 2016 till January 27, 2017 in the Center of photography Lumiere brothers in Moscow.
