«Anna Karenina. Live edition» entered the Guinness Book of records

The project of the “Yasnaya Polyana” Museum together with Google “Karenina. Live edition” – online reading of Lev Tolstoy’ novel – is entered in the Guinness Book of records for its exclusiveness and the amount of viewers around the world. On the 3rd of October 723 actors, singers, TV presenters, journalists, descendants of Tolstoy, bloggers all over the world had red the novel in a real-time mode.
Video conference was provided by Google Hangouts and it has brought together Fyekla Tolstaya, Yegor Konchalovsky, Dmitry Peskov, Vladimir Medinsky, Evelina Khromtchenko, Lyubov Tolkalina, Elizaveta Boyarskaya and many others readings in one online publication.
In February 2015 Google launched website with the information about the readers and with the records of the “Live Edition“.
You should just type the name of the reader or the number of the part in a search. Fashion expert Evelina Khromtchenko had red a piece from 22 chapters of the first part of the novel – about Anna’s black ball dress. The video is available here
